An updated version of the App Store Review Guidelines was released on September 12, 2012. When we create great content and can't wait to get it released into the world of iPads, it's good to be aware of the restrictions and limits that may keep it from being approved by the Apple gatekeepers.

The latest version of Adobe Digital Publishing Suite was released on September 17, 2012. Version 23 solves a few key problems for iOS Viewers and Android Viewers, as well as bringing improvements to the Folio Builder tools and some tweaks for the Social Sharing features.

InDesign CS6 version 8.0.1

The first update for InDesign CS6 has been released, and version 8.0.1 is now available. You can update from within the InDesign application by choosing Help > Updates, which will launch the Adobe Application Manager.

Timing your DPS updates

If you want to understand how to update DPS and which tools to install, the simple answer that I posted earlier was:

Always update everything! 

However, if you are deep into your digital publishing cycles, there may be good reasons to wait on a DPS update.

DPS tools updated frequently

"Digital Publishing Suite tools are updated frequently."

This understatement about updates starts several of the Adobe DPS online reference pages. The Adobe Digital Publishing Suite tools are being updated approximately every 6 weeks or so, currently at Release v22.
