Learn about DPS with IDUG

InDesign User Groups

The Adobe Worldwide InDesign User Group Community has been around for well over a decade, and now has 88 chapters in 36 countries, with over 52,000 registered members. That's a lot of local interest and extra effort to get together about a software program!
The creative and communications fields inspire that kind of passion in many professionals who are interested in sharing their knowledge and experiences, and the User Groups are a great way to connect with like-minded people with similar interests in digital media, design, and publishing.

The InDesign User Groups (IDUG) are organized and run by the grass-roots efforts of area designers and trainers, although the groups are sponsored and supported by Adobe Systems. Individual IDUG chapters are local organizations that meet in person, although some chapters are now broadcasting their meetings and events, making it easier for interested people to attend no matter where they're located.

Join an InDesign User Group
Find a local IDUG chapter, and become a member.
Even if there is not an IDUG chapter near you, or you don't ever plan to attend a live meeting, there are a lot of valuable benefits and discounts available for members online. Well worth your effort to register, and the membership is FREE. Create an account at InDesignUserGroup.com to join a chapter, register for upcoming events, get members-only discounts, and check out past meeting topics.

Digital Publishing is being featured at many of the InDesign User Group chapter meetings around the world. Just this week, The Future of Digital Publishing will be discussed in Aukland, New Zealand on Tuesday, and Creating Digital Magazines will be covered in Chicago, Illinois on Wednesday. There are already a dozen IDUG events scheduled for September 2012, including Web Technologies in your Digital Magazine in Washington D.C. and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite & InDesign in Montreal.

There are sure to be many more InDesign User Group meetings focused on Digital Publishing, so watch the upcoming meetings listings to catch the latest IDUG events.
